Aprilia has always been proud of its racing achievements and has now announced a new limited-edition RS 660 model at EICMA 2021 to commemorate its supremacy in the 2021 MotoAmerica Twins Cup. Well, the celebration was deserved after winning 10 of the 13 events in the series.
The Aprilia RS 660 Limited Edition is dressed in a stars and stripes livery based on the American flag, hence it gets red, blue and white colours. This design is inspired by the bike raced by Twins Cup champion Kaleb De Keyrel during the last leg of the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy championship at Vallelunga.
Only 1500 of these limited-edition RS 660s will be produced, each with a distinctive tank emblem indicating the unit’s manufacturing number. The mechanical elements remain the same as the ordinary RS 660, but it will also have a few excellent race-ready embellishments to go with that unique stars and stripes livery.
While the limited-edition RS 660 features the same standard passenger seat as the regular RS 660, it will also receive a single-seat tail cowl that fits atop the passenger seat to give it a more sporty appearance. It will also get an extended windscreen to offer enhanced wind protection.
Moreover, in terms of the pricing and availability of the bike, such information is not available from the brand end but one thing is clear that it will not be available anytime soon.
