Aprilia RSV4 X, the limited edition tenth anniversary model from the Italian brand, has been launched for 39,900 Euros (INR 31 lakh approx). The RSV4 was launched ten years back and the production of RSV4 X will be limited to just 10 units. The motorcycle is available with 225 HP of maximum power and that too pulling just 165 kg of dry weight. The drop in weight comes through the use of lightweight carbon fiber fairing, resulting in 12 kg of an overall drop in comparison to the lightest RSV4 variant. The ECU has been tuned to bring the maximum performance out of the model, further getting an exclusive ANN (Aprilia No Neutral) gearbox for a reduction in chances of neutral while shifting.
The gear shift pattern has changed on the motorcycle resulting in the one-sided pattern where the neutral comes before the first and every other gear is changed in the same direction, unlike other bikes where neutral is placed in-between the first and second gear. Aprilia RSV4 X comes with forged magnesium wheels from Marchesini, sticky Pirelli tires, Brembo brake calipers and much more. The pricing mentioned here is a direct conversion from the Euro-spec price while getting the same for real will require almost double the price mentioned here.
Unlike some motorcycles that take a lot of time to be listed as sold out, Aprilia RSV4 X is expected to take just 24 hours to get sold out. The error avoiding mechanism of the motorcycle is great as sprinting fast requires precision to the highest level and ANN technology can help riders skip the fraction of a second that gets wasted during the shifts. The motorcycle rivals none other than BMW HP4 Race, Kawasaki Ninja H2 and Ducati V4 Speciale in the international market. The official bookings will start in the mid of April for the new RSV4 X.
