Aprilia Shiver 900 and Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 Launched in India

Aprilia Shiver 900 and Dorsoduro 900 have been officially launched in India for INR 11.99 lakh and INR 12.50 lakh respectively. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Pune. These bikes are actually a replacement to the smaller 750 variants.

Aprilia hinted at a launch event in August earlier but launched the two motorcycles earlier than its initial plans. A 1200cc variant of the Dorsoduro is available currently in India while the younger version will attract more buyers with an even better price tag.

Aprilia Shiver 900 Launched @ INR 11.99 Lakhs

Shiver series made an official entry into India through the 900cc variant. Both the bikes share the same engine while the purpose of built for both are completely different. The 896 cc, V-Twin engine on the same is good for 94 BHP at 8750 rpm and 90 Nm at 6500 rpm.

It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while other components on the models are unique for their body type. Shiver is a street bike with roadster design and Red alloy wheels while Dorsoduro doubles as a tourer and adventure machine.

The suspension components on both the bikes include 41 mm Kayaba front forks and rear monoshock. Premium braking includes twin front 320 mm brakes with Brembo calipers and 240 mm single disc with Brembo calipers.

Both the bikes are offered with standard ABS while multiple traction control setting can be accessed on Dorsoduro 900. Advanced technological features also include Bluetooth connectivity with instrument console. These can be bought from 5 Motoplex Dealerships across India in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Cochin, and Chennai.

Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 Launched @ INR 12.50 Lakhs

The current Aprilia lineup brings one of the most exotic machines out of all in India. Their flagship RSV4 is a liter class superbike with high amount of technology and race inspired versions on its side.

If someone is not in the mood to race, the option of getting Tuono V4 for everyday power packed driving is very exciting. They have Caponord 1200 series for adventure lovers while Dorsoduro 1200 is here for those who love unique bikes. They even have Mana 850 GT for the another level Aprilia fans.
