2018 Bajaj Avenger Spotted Ahead of Official Launch

2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street Spotted Ahead of Official Launch: 2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Street was recently spied in its production ready version.

The motorcycle looks perfectly organized through the use of modern equipment like digital instrument console, forward placed foot pegs and secondary display on the fuel tank.

It even uses a cafe racer inspired front wind deflector for better ride dynamics. All new paint scheme helps the motorcycle gain a fresh look for 2018. It may officially make a debut on January 10, 2018.

2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise Spotted Ahead of Official Launch: Details regarding the 2018 Bajaj Avenger were recently leaked online. The motorcycle is said to support the same engine but would carry visual highlights and equipment upgrade in the next model.

The biggest change on 2018 Bajaj Avenger is the use of fully digital instrument console, replacing the almost decade old round pod with a needle type speedometer.

2018 Bajaj Avenger Launch Soon, Will Get Digital Console, ABS, New Colors

A report claims that Bajaj will now offer split seat as standard while a larger windscreen will also be used to offer better wind protection. The changes will bring almost INR 2000 worth of price hike for the 2018 Bajaj Avenger.

Further, Bajaj Auto will offer both non-ABS and ABS models on the motorcycle. 2018 Bajaj Avenger will follow the same 150 and 220 nomenclature with Street and Cruise variants. Both matte and gloss shades will be on offer, carrying all new design inserts and new shade offerings for the 2018 year model.

Bajaj Auto is expected to charge INR 12,000 for the single channel ABS model, which further seems to be exclusive on the upcoming 2018 Bajaj Avenger 220 only. They have not offered ABS on any of the 150cc model yet and that makes it genuinely true to keep ABS exclusive to the 220 model.

Bajaj Avenger will cross the INR 1 lakh mark for the first time with ABS equipped 2018 model. The engine on the Avenger 220 Cruise/Street will produce the same 19.03 HP and 17.5 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

As the cruiser variant is exclusive to 220, 2018 Bajaj Avenger 150 Cruise could be an all-new model into the lineup. Counting all the expectations, Bajaj Auto could come up with almost six to eight variants under the Avenger lineup, including those with ABS and those with body panel differences.
