Bajaj Auto recently launched the updated model of Pulsar 220F in India. It gets single-channel ABS on the front wheel with Rear Wheel Lift Mitigation (RLM). It means that both wheels would come equipped with speed sensors. They have also given gyroscopic sensor on the rear wheel that detects if it is in contact with the ground or not. The ground clearance of the Pulsar 220F ABS is 165mm.
The semi-faired bike is powered by a 220cc oil-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-Valve, Twin Spark, BS4-Compliant, DTS-i engine which produces 20.93 HP of maximum power at 8500 rpm and 18.55 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 rpm. The suspension duties of the bike are handled by telescopic forks with anti-friction bush at the front, and 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber at the rear.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is equipped with a 260mm single disc at the front and a 230mm single disc at the rear. The bike comes with a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres, while the kerb weight stands at 155 kg. The 2019 model of 220F is available in 2 shades: Black with Blue highlights and Black with Red highlights.
