250cc Bajaj Pulsar Imagined by SRK Designs: A new model of Bajaj Pulsar was recently spotted testing on the Indian roads through a couple of spy photos. Rumoured to be the much-awaited 250cc model of Pulsar, the all-new motorcycle is expected to launch by Diwali in November.
Ahead of the official unveiling later this year, SRK Designs, one of the well-known digital artists, has recently rendered the upcoming motorcycle to give the Pulsar fans a sneak peek at how the Pulsar 250 could look like. Here is the high-resolution rendered image of the 250cc Bajaj Pulsar:
As one can see in the rendered image, the design of the motorcycle seems to be heavily inspired by the Dominar 400 as it features some similar body parts like the headlight, fuel tank, exhaust system, and front fender. It also features some of the components from the current Bajaj Pulsar 200 series like the white alloy wheels, in addition to the fuel-tank extensions, rear grab rails, and the rear tyre hugger.
As per the details available, unlike the liquid-cooled Pulsar NS200, the NS250 would be powered by an all-new 250cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, oil-cooled engine, and it is expected to generate around 24HP of maximum power, which is less than 24.5HP developed by the Pulsar NS200.
However, NS250 is expected to be torquier than the NS200, which is good for 18.5Nm of peak torque. It seems like Bajaj is planning to launch the NS250 with a very aggressive price tag, to make it capable enough to compete with the likes of other value-for-money motorcycles like the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Yamaha FZ 250.
Bajaj Pulsar series currently has 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, and 220cc engine options. In addition to the 250cc model of the Pulsar NS and Pulsar RS, Bajaj Auto is also said to be working on Avenger 250 cruiser motorcycle and the Pulsar AS250 adventure motorcycle.
