For many years, the Bajaj Pulsar has been a top seller in the Indian two-wheeler industry. While the Pulsar has recently experienced stiff competition from other bikes in the market, this series of Bajaj motorcycles continues to have a dedicated audience. As market trends show a rising interest in the 250cc sector, Bajaj will shortly expand the Pulsar lineup to include models in this range.
As of now, the company is working actively to offer two variants of the Pulsar 250 for maximum reach. As far as the official launch is concerned, the all-new 250cc Pulsar series will launch in India on October 28, 2021. The upcoming motorcycles are likely to be named Pulsar NS250 and Pulsar 250F.
The NS250 features a sporty appearance with a bold front fascia. The motorcycle is outfitted with a single LED projector headlight flanked by eye-shaped slimline LED DRLs. The overall appearance seems to be close to the 250cc offerings from Yamaha and Suzuki. The fuel tank is completely merged with the tank shrouds on the side. There are also air scoops on the fairing, which may be used to enhance the bike’s aerodynamics.
When it comes to the Pulsar 250F, the only significant difference between the two is the fairing. The front of the bike features a windshield and the rearview mirrors which are mounted on the windshield. Some panels are visible on the sidewalls that cover a portion of the engine unit. The majority of the other characteristics, notably the riding position, are virtually the same as on the NS250.
As we reported earlier, the Bajaj Pulsar NS250 and Pulsar 250F will come equipped with a BS6-compliant 1-cylinder fuel-injected oil-cooled engine while the bike will most probably be equipped with Dominar-sourced dual-channel ABS unit. The 250cc Pulsar series is expected to get a starting ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.60 lakh.
