250cc Bajaj Pulsar RS and Pulsar NS India Launch This Year: As per the recent reports, the much-awaited 250cc models of Pulsar RS and Pulsar NS will be launched in India by the end of this year. The Pulsar NS250 and Pulsar RS250 will be powered by Dominar 250’s single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The 248.8cc BS6-compliant engine will be tuned to suit the characteristics of the 250cc Pulsar series and thus, the Bajaj Pulsar series will enter into the league of quarter-litre machines later this year.
At present, apart from Dominar 250, Bajaj does not have a product in the entry-level quarter-litre segment to compete in the market with the likes of Suzuki Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, Yamaha FZ25, and the FZS25. The launch of Pulsar NS250 and the Pulsar RS250 is one of the major ways for the brand to up its game. According to the recent buzz, NS250 and RS250 will be replacing NS200 and RS200 respectively.
To make a promising impact on the customers, in addition to getting better tyres and a refined engine, the all-new 250cc Pulsar variants are expected to get a host of premium features like USD front forks, an all-digital instrument console, smartphone connectivity, and a slipper clutch as standard. When launched in India, the Bajaj Pulsar NS250 and Pulsar RS250 are expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.45-1.55 lakhs and INR 1.65-1.75 lakhs respectively.
Bajaj Pulsar series currently has 125, 150, 160, 180, 200, and 220cc engine options. In addition to the 250cc model of the Pulsar NS and Pulsar RS, Bajaj Auto is also said to be working on Avenger 250 cruiser motorcycle and the Pulsar AS250 adventure motorcycle.
