Bajaj all-set to launch the Dominar 400 in Goa on January 23
The launch event will start at 6 PM at Sitara Bajaj, Margao and people could witness the launch of the flagship Bajaj motorcycle in their very own town. Dominar 400 is based on the same frame as all other modern Bajaj motorcycles while comes with a 373.3 cc, single cylinder engine producing 35 PS at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and weighs quite high at 182 kg.
The motorcycle is said to carry the same engine as KTM 390 Duke but Bajaj Auto recently clarified that they have made the engine using different components and the only similarity between the both is the block size of the same. Dominar 400 has a distinct Bajaj feel and handles very nicely on both highway and city roads. It would be soon available across India but could be rolled in a phased manner due to the production and marketing constraint for some time.
