According to the recent buzz, Bajaj Auto will be bringing out its quarter-litre range of Avenger cruiser motorcycle in the year 2022. In addition to the upcoming Avenger 250, the brand is also focusing on introducing the Pulsar NS250, Pulsar RS250, and the Pulsar AS250 around the same time. The quarter-litre motorcycles will be a bonus for the customers looking for a powerful engine without letting go of the fuel efficiency.
The reports also suggest that the upcoming Bajaj Avenger 250 will be replacing the existing Avenger 220 series in the Indian market. The better engine specifications would make the Avenger 250 one of the most interesting options for relaxed touring. One can expect the brand to offer a host of premium features to the 250cc Avenger in addition to the introduction of a fuel-injected liquid-cooled engine. The brand will also be equipping the motorcycle with a 2-channel ABS unit as standard.
Just like the current 220cc series of the Bajaj Avenger, customers will be able to avail the Avenger 250 in two different variants namely: Street and Cruise. The brand is likely to equip the motorcycle with KTM Duke 250-inspired liquid-cooled engine though, the power and torque figures will be tuned to suit the characteristics of a cruiser motorcycle. In addition to this, Bajaj Auto will be offering the Avenger 250 an all-new retro-modern design profile.
After its official launch in India, the Bajaj Avenger 250 will compete in the market with the likes of the Yamaha FZ25, Royal Enfield Bullet X, and the upcoming Suzuki Intruder 250. One can expect the brand to price the 250cc model of the Avenger at around INR 1.35-1.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
