Bajaj CT 100 Bike Discontinued in India; Production Stopped

The CT 100 was Bajaj’s entry-level commuter motorbike, designed for rural clients searching for a low-maintenance, high-fuel-efficiency motorcycle. The CT 100, Bajaj Auto’s most affordable motorcycle in the series, has been removed from sale. The CT 100 was redesigned in 2021 with additional features and colour options, and it was positioned as Bajaj Auto’s entry-level motorcycle in India.

The bike is no longer listed on the automaker’s official Indian website, and dealerships are no longer accepting CT 100 registrations. The bike’s manufacturing has also been seized, suggesting that they have withdrawn the motorcycle from the portfolio. Despite this, the bike may make a reappearance because the company has yet to make an official announcement. The retro-inspired CT 110 X is the only bike in Bajaj’s CT line-up that is currently available for purchase.

Bajaj CT100

The CT 100 is powered by a 102cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 7.79 HP of maximum power and 8.34 Nm of max torque and it comes paired with a four-speed transmission. It travels on 17-inch alloy wheels that are supported by telescopic forks at the front and dual springs at the back. And the braking duties are handled by drum brakes on both ends with the help of a combined braking system.

Bajaj offered the CT 100 in 6 colour schemes; Gloss Ebony Black with Blue Decals, Matte Olive Green with Yellow Decals, Gloss Flame Red with Bright Red Decals, Gloss Ebony Black, Matte Olive Green, and Gloss Flame Red. With a price tag of Rs 53,696, it was one of the least expensive bikes on the market in India (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Bajaj CT 100 is well-known for its low price and high mileage, as many owners have claimed a fuel economy of 70 kilometres per litre. The Hero Splendor Plus, which has been India’s best-selling motorcycle for a long time, was the major competitor for the Bajaj CT 100.
