Bajaj Dominar 250 Gets 3 New Colours Featuring White Alloy Wheels

As per one of the recent media reports, Bajaj Auto is all set to launch three new colours for the Dominar 250 streetfighter. All of them feature a dual-tone colour combination and white alloy wheels, like the MY2021 Pulsar NS160, Pulsar NS200, and Pulsar RS200. The new shades are known as Citrus Rush with Matt Silver, Racing Red with Matt Silver, and Sparkling Black with Matt Silver. Earlier, the 250cc model of Dominar was available in two monotone shades namely Canyon Red and Vine Black. According to the details available, the new colours are expected to go on sale across India very soon. Here are the leaked photos of the upcoming colour combinations:

Apart from the new colour combinations, no other changes are expected in the motorcycle, mechanically and cosmetically. It will continue to be powered by the same 248.77cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engine. It is good for a maximum power of 27HP @ 8500 rpm along with a peak torque of 23.5Nm @ 6500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The company-claimed top speed of the motorcycle stands at 132kmph.

The motorcycle gets a 100 section front tyre and a 130 section rear tyre while the braking department is handled by a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc brake at the rear. The bike comes equipped with a 2-channel ABS unit as standard.

Like the Dominar 400, the 250cc model is also equipped with an all-digital instrument console, USD front forks, rear monoshock, slipper clutch and a double-barrel exhaust system. Dominar 250 competes in the market with the likes of Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM Duke 250, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250, and the Yamaha FZ25. Bajaj Auto recently dropped the price of Dominar 250 by INR 16,800 and it is now available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.54 lakhs.
