Bajaj Dominar Beats Royal Enfield Himalayan & KTM 390 Twins

Bajaj Dominar is back on the track, beating two impressive machines in terms of sales in the month of April 2019. The flagship Bajaj motorcycle posted 1,346 units, leaving behind the Royal Enfield Himalayan (1,113 units) and the KTM 390 Series (507 units) with its monthly sales number. The gap may become more visible in the coming months as Bajaj Auto is planning to take the number higher as they did initially with the last generation model. The brand recently launched the 2019 model of Dominar 400 in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.74 lakh.

2019 Bajaj Dominar 400

The price point for 2019 Dominar 400 is so justified that INR 1.82 lakh worth RE Himalayan feels like an expensive option. On the other hand, the KTM bikes are placed well above the common spending area of the majority of the buyers in India. KTM 390 Duke is the most powerful motorcycle out of all these as it even produces 3.5HP of more power than the upgraded Dominar 400.

Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet with Accessories

The 2019 variant of the flagship Bajaj motorcycle comes with USD front forks, updated instrument console with more values than the older version, updated DOHC engine with 40HP of maximum power, and impressive Green as well as Black colour options. Himalayan can be bought in Black, White, and Sleet colour options while KTM offers a single finish for the RC390 and two colour options for the 390 Duke.
