Bajaj Auto to Launch Glossy Red Dominar 400 in India Soon
Bajaj Auto is all set to launch a new paint scheme for the 2019 Dominar 400 by the name Glossy Red. The upcoming colour option is already available across several international markets. The Glossy Red Dominar 400 was recently seen in a promotional video in addition to being photographed at Bajaj’s Chakan plant earlier this month. Presently, the 2019 Dominar is available in two colour options namely Aurora Green and Vine Black.
The glossy red colour variant will be no different when it comes to the price of the motorcycle. It will be available at the same price tag of INR 1.74 lakh, like the rest of the colour options. The MY2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 40 HP at 8,650 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
The recent updates include a DOHC engine in addition to better power figures. The suspension duties are handled by upside-down forks at the front while the rear of the motorcycle gets a monoshock absorber. The new Dominar 400 gets a redesigned instrument panel in addition to the twin-barrel exhaust system.
The brand will be launching the Glossy Red Dominar 400 in the market ahead of the festive season in order to boost the overall sales of the motorcycle. Recently, the motorcycle has clocked a 150% increase in sales as compared to last year.
