According to the recent reports, Bajaj is all set to launch an all-new 125cc motorcycle under the Pulsar banner. The upcoming Pulsar 125 CBS is expected to launch in India next month. The earlier rumours suggested that the new motorcycle will be launched as Pulsar NS125, which is already available in the international markets. But as per the latest details available, the India-spec model will be based on the Pulsar 150 Neon.
Launching the 125cc Pulsar in India would turn out to be one of the best decisions made by the brand considering the affordable price tag as well as the strong foothold of the Pulsar brand in India. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is expected to become one of the most cost-effective choices under the Pulsar banner.
If the recent reports are correct, the Pulsar 125 CBS will be based on the design language of the Pulsar 150 Neon while getting a 125cc engine. The motorcycle is expected to feature a single-seat saddle with no fuel tank extensions.
We can expect the upcoming bike to feature a halogen headlight with LED DRLs at the front in addition to a semi-digital instrument panel as well as a muscular fuel tank. The upcoming 125cc Pulsar is expected to get a 240mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear while the bike will come equipped with CBS (Combined Braking System) as a standard safety feature.
It is also being said that the Bajaj Pulsar 125’s engine will be based on the engine of Pulsar 135 that is capable of generating a maximum power figure of 13.5 HP and a peak torque figure of 12 Nm. The engine will be tuned to deliver better mileage and performance. It will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The upcoming Pulsar 125 is expected to get a price range in between INR 60,000-65,000 (ex-showroom).
