As per the official website of Bajaj Auto, the brand has officially hiked the price of the Pulsar 150 Neon commuter motorcycle. The company recently also increased the price tags of other motorcycles, which includes the entire Pulsar range in addition to the Bajaj Avenger series as well as the Dominar 400.
Among the entry-level 150cc bikes, one of the steepest price hikes has been witnessed by the Pulsar 150 Neon. The motorcycle is now available in the market with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 75,200, getting a price hike of INR 4,000 from the earlier price tag of INR 71,200. The 150 Neon is now listed on the brand’s official website with the updated price tag.
The Pulsar 150 Neon is powered a 149cc, single-cylinder air-cooled BS4-compliant engine, which is capable to generate 14 HP of maximum power and 13.4 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
Justifying the hike in prices as a wise decision, Mr Rajiv Bajaj, MD Bajaj Auto commented – “The Bajaj Dominar where it is about Rs 10,000 on the base of Rs 1,80,000 and on the Pulsar Neon about Rs 4,000 on an ex-showroom price of Rs 71,200. We are very well placed in those segments and there is a very good reason. As the adage goes, you must have the courage to change what you can, the humility to accept what you cannot and the wisdom to know the difference. I think our price increase has been very wise”.
