New Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc Launched @ INR 78,016

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc was recently launched in India for INR 78,016. This leads to a price difference of INR 4,390 between rear drum and disc variant. Bajaj Auto is using better parts on this variant as it looks almost the same as Pulsar 180 in every aspect.

It comes with 37mm front forks, split seat, bigger 260mm front disc, rear 230mm disc and black alloy wheels. More than that, kick-starter goes missing from this recently launched model. Buyers can get their hands on Black Blue, Black Red and Black Chrome shade on Pulsar 150 Twin Disc.

The premium list of features make Bajaj Pulsar 150 an even better competitor to Honda xBlade and TVS Apache RTR 160. Apart from these two, RTR 160 4V and other 150cc bikes are placed at a much higher price point.

Pulsar 150 comes with 149cc, air cooled and carburetor fed engine producing 13.8 BHP at 8000 rpm and 13.4 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It is considered a perfect option by fans looking for reliable sports commuter under fixed budget. The bike weighs a bit more in comparison to many options.

Pulsar 180 is now the nearest upgrade at INR 82,650. Buyers looking for more power will now bridge this small gap or otherwise, those looking for features and economy will stay in the middle of Pulsar 150 Single Disc and Pulsar 180.

Bajaj Auto is diversifying its variant list to bring bigger numbers in overall sales. Their Pulsar series now stands sixth after losing the battle to Royal Enfield Classic series. Most brands charge INR 3000 for rear disc and getting additional updates for INR 1490 is not a bad deal at all for Bajaj fans and Pulsar lovers.
