Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon (180F) Launched @ INR 87,000

Bajaj has finally launched the much-awaited Pulsar 180F in India with a price tag of INR 87,000 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). Based on the same design language as its elder sibling, the Pulsar 220F, the newly launched model gets a name tag of Pulsar 180 Neon.

As per the official website of Bajaj, the bike is available in the Neon Orange colour combination with the grab rails and the Pulsar logo finished in Orange colour. The orange accents on the body panels justify its sports bike look. Before the official launch of Pulsar 180F, the bike was spotted in one more shade (Black with Red highlights). It is expected that Bajaj will update the official website with the images of Neon Red shade in the coming days.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon (180F) Officially Launched @ INR 87,000

Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon (180F) is a 178.6 cc, single cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 17.02 HP at 8,500 rpm and an utmost torque of 14.22 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It gets a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres while the wheelbase of 1345mm is perfect for handling the bike well on every terrain.

The engine specifications have been borrowed from the Bajaj Pulsar 180 thus offering rather same fuel efficiency. The braking duties are handled by a 260mm disc brake at front and a  230mm disc at the rear. One of the absurd facts considering the launch of Bajaj Pulsar 180F is the fact that the company has skipped ABS for the same. Though, we can expect the brand to introduce a single channel ABS later keeping in mind that the Government has officially made it mandatory for bikes above 125cc starting April 1, 2019.
