According to a report by Autocar India, the Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon ABS will get an effective price tag of INR 94,278 (ex-showroom Pune). The new single-channel ABS equipped motorcycle gets a price hike of INR 7,800 from the standard non-ABS variant. The on-road price of Pulsar 180 Neon ABS is expected to stay around INR 1.15 lakh.
The bike features unique graphic detailing as well as a Pulsar 220F inspired front end design. In comparison to the Pulsar 180, no mechanical changes have been made in the 180F (180 Neon). The bike is available in the market in two stunning shades: Gloss Black with Red logos and Matte Silver with Orange logos. The majority of Bajaj dealerships are yet to receive the ABS-equipped variant of the semi-faired sports bike but according to the reports, the pre-bookings have begun at INR 500.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 180F ABS is a 178.6cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power of 17.02 HP at 8,500 rpm and an utmost torque of 14.22 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine has been mated to a 5-speed transmission. The braking duties are handled by a 260mm disc brake at the front while the rear of the bike gets a 230mm disc brake.
Coming to the suspension, the bike continues to feature the same conventional telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock rear suspension, borrowed from the Pulsar 180. The semi-faired Pulsar 180 Neon (180F) competes in the market with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 180, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Yamaha FZS V3 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF.
