Bajaj Pulsar 250 Touches 10K Sales; Becomes Fastest-Selling 250cc Bike

Bajaj Auto Limited, an Indian automotive manufacturer of 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers based in Pune, recently achieved an honourable feat. In October 2021, Bajaj Auto introduced 2 new bikes; Pulsar N250 and Pulsar F250, to the Indian market. These bikes were priced at Rs 1.38 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh respectively, and in just six months of their launch, they have sold 10,000 units. It is claimed to be the fastest sales milestone any 250cc bike has achieved to date.

Bajaj Pulsar N250

The 250cc Pulsar variants were offered in two different shades; Racing Red and Techno Grey at the time of their launch. A new colour, Caribbean Blue was added after the market feedback by the Pune based automakers. It is a deeper and glossier shade, which covers the larger surface area to the front cowl, making its way to the fuel tank, and front fender and going back to the tail section with an added black contrast.

Pulsar 250cc bikes come with a LED headlight and LED taillight with LED DRLs and LED indicators. They are offered with a semi-digital instrument cluster which displays speed, gear position, fuel economy range and trip meter with the odometer. And gets an analogue tachometer, clip-on handlebars and a split seat section.

Bajaj Pulsar F250

The 249.07cc single-cylinder, 2-valve, SOHC oil-cooled engine produces a maximum output of 24.5 hp and 21.5 Nm power Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250. They mated the engine with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. Telescopic forks at the front and Nitrox mono-shock absorbers at the rear, disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS, 17-inch wheels with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tubeless tyres.
