Bajaj Pulsar Elan and Pulsar Eleganz - Quick Details and Rendering

The Bajaj Pulsar lineup has remained the most loved since its launch in the domestic as well as international markets. The brand has made several updates to its models in order to compete in this era of technical advancement and competency. Bajaj is currently attempting to revamp the Pulsar series by launching several new models, and it started with the introduction of the N250 and F250, then the N160, and most recently, the P150.

Bajaj has recently also filed two new trademarks for Pulsar Elan and Pulsar Eleganz. These are presumably the names of the forthcoming Pulsar lineup, but it is unclear what these motorcycles will look like. These might be names for a more powerful Pulsar based on the upcoming KTM 490 twin-cylinder, or they could sit beneath the existing flagship Pulsar 250.

Bajaj also trademarked the name Twinner some time ago. However, there is no specific information available related to new products. The new Pulsar Elan and Pulsar Eleganz are most likely to follow the same school of thought as the old Pulsars. Bajaj Original Pulsars have long been recognised for their low-end oomph, which features Bajaj's core technologies, DTSi and ExhausTEC. These bikes have a distinct engine sound and a pleasant exhaust tone.

The latest Pulsar twins, the N250 and F250, are powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that uses fuel-injection technology and is capable of churning out 24.1 bhp of power at 8,750rpm and a max torque of 21.5 Nm at 6,500rpm. This engine is mated with a five-speed transmission and is supported by a slipper and an assist-clutch function.
