Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi India Launch Expected by Diwali 2019

The updated model of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi with ABS was recently spotted outside India in a new set of shades for the international markets. The motorcycle comes with white/silver fuel tank and a gloss black rear under seat panel on all three shades. The difference can be seen on the FI monikers, finished in Neon Yellow, Neon Blue, and Neon Red on the three colour options. The matching pinstripes on the alloy wheels are another way to differentiate all three of them.

As Bajaj Auto manufactures the NS200 in India and exports the same to different markets, the same colour combination is expected to make its way to our country along with the launch of the fuel-injected model.

As the BS6 emission norms will come into effect starting from April 1, 2020, Bajaj Auto would be updating the fuel-injected engine of the Pulsar RS200 to make it BS6-compliant, and the same engine will also be used in the updated model of the NS200 in India.

The fuel-injected RS200 is good for 24.5 HP of maximum power at 9750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of maximum torque at 8000 rpm. The non-fuel injected NS200 generates 23.5 HP and 18.3 Nm. The gearbox stays 6-speed in both cases.

Bajaj recently also launched an ad campaign showing their presence in more than 70 countries and their newly introduced NS200 model seems another step towards better sales in the international markets. NS200 is a great machine with a balanced streetfighter design and stylish fuel tank extensions that are nowadays adopted by most bikes of the same category.

Bajaj Auto recently introduced single-channel ABS to its Pulsar DTS-i lineup and the Pulsar range now starts from INR 68,250 for the 150 Neon model. The Fi model of NS200 was earlier expected to launch in India by mid-2019 but as per the latest details available, the Fi+ABS model will now launch by Diwali (October 2019). The updated version is expected to be priced around INR 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
