Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Price Hiked Again! Pulsar NS200 broke an old tradition of keeping base variants of naked street bikes (displacement limited to 200cc) under INR 1 lakh by the Indian brands. The company recently introduced another price hike for NS200, leaving the same vulnerable to buyer queries at INR 1,00,179 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Those looking for an exact price hike map for NS200 will be amazed to see the progress (on pricing terms) this bike has made during the last 18 months.
Surprisingly, the brand has made no addition of equipment to the NS200. TVS Apache RTR 200 also have the same sort of price hike history but, it was lucky enough to receive slipper clutch as an addition.
Pulsar NS200 is also available in ABS equipped variant for INR 1,12,179. It rivals TVS Apache RTR 200 and Hero Xtreme 200R in its segment. Priced at INR 88,000 and carrying single-channel ABS as standard, Hero Xtreme 200R seems like a better alternative on all grounds.
Also, Apache RTR 200 brings dual channel ABS at INR 1,10,030 and non-ABS, slipper clutch equipped variant for INR 96,230 (ex-showroom). Bajaj has also introduced similar or even higher price hikes for other models as well.
