Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Catches Fire in Pasumalai, Tamil Nadu

A recent incident of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 burning to its ashes has surfaced in Pasumalai, Tamil Nadu. According to the owner of the bike (Dhanish Ahamed), he was riding to his college and he noticed fire coming out from the engine. He suddenly stopped the bike and parked it on the side of the road. The motorcycle was a Red shade ABS spec model that caught fire and was reduced to almost nothing in a matter of short time.

The rider escaped unhurt but was frightened by the horrifying scene of his motorcycle burning in front of his eyes. At the time when he noticed the engine is on fire, he was riding at about 60 kmph. According to the owner, he never installed any after-market accessory or equipment in his bike and he always got the bike serviced on time from the authorized Bajaj service center.

The exact reason behind the fire is still unknown but the owner believes that it might have happened due to a short circuit in the electrical system of the bike. The motorcycle’s plastic body panels are completely gone while the metal parts can be seen in completely burnt condition. According to RushLane, the dealer and Bajaj Autos are very much concerned about the incident and they have promised to give him a replacement with a brand new Pulsar RS200.
