The production-spec model of the Bajaj Pulsar RS400 sportbike is rumoured to make its global debut in Thailand in the coming weeks while the India launch is expected to happen by the end of this year. Ahead of the official unveiling, Stalin K Raju, one of the well-known rendering artists has recently posted some digital renderings of the Pulsar RS400 sportbike on Instagram.
In terms of size and features, the Pulsar RS400 would be slightly bigger and more feature-loaded in comparison to the RS200. In his digital renderings, Stalin K Raju has imparted the sportbike with edgy and sharp styling, featuring a chrome-finish ‘Pulsar’ logo on the fuel tank and a big ‘RS400’ moniker on the side fairing. The rear-view mirror-integrated front blinkers are inspired by the new model of the Honda CBR1000RR-R superbike.
Some of the key features of the RS400 include twin LED headlamps, LED tail lamp, and an all-digital instrument console which is further expected to be inspired from the new model of the Dominar 400. In addition to this, the RS400 sportbike would feature sporty body graphics, USD front telescopic forks, adjustable rear monoshock suspension, wide split seats, clip-on handlebars, and rear-set footpegs.
Mechanically, the Pulsar RS400 would most probably be powered by the Bajaj Dominar 400’s engine. The 373.3cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, DOHC, BS6-compliant engine is capable of offering maximum power of 40 HP @ 8,800 rpm and a peak torque of 35 Nm @ 7,000 rpm. The engine will remain mated to a 6-speed gearbox. You can click here for more details related to Bajaj Pulsar RS400’s expected specs and price.
