Bajaj Urbanite Scooter Sketches Surface Ahead of Official Unveil

Bajaj Urbanite scooter will soon turn into a reality with patent sketches surfacing online for the model. The surprising fact for the upcoming scooter is that it will be available with both an electric and petrol-powered motor for the buyers. As Bajaj announced only an electric scooter for the Urbanite series, the second model with an exhaust comes as a surprise for the scooter fans of India. The images seen here are similar to the one beige scooter that was named as 2019 Bajaj Chetak by the fans. The headlight section flaunts retro-modern design lines, leaving behind the concept of either round headlight or edgy headlights for the unique balanced design.

The side profile flaunts decent front seat padding, raised rear seat with floating design and multiple spoke alloy wheels. The body section is highly inspired by retro-scooters with indicators studded within the body at the front and rear getting a neat fender that starts right where the body section ends. The exhaust design is stubby, intentionally left with least amount of sports factor to balance the overall profile. The console is placed within the round glass section while the handlebar and the rear-view mirrors are well-shaped. The section seen around the knee area is highlighted while the fuel filler is placed opposite to the key section.

Bajaj Urbanite scooter brand was earlier expected to flaunt multiple electric vehicles and recent reports confirm that petrol-powered scooters will also arrive parallel to the electric ones in the early days. Also, Bajaj will not mix any of the product from the Urbanite range with their existing range of motorcycles, resulting in an all-new dealership range for the buyers. The chances of naming their conventional scooter Chetak is an all-time high. First, Bajaj Auto thrashed the reports of getting into the scooter market and then, announced a sub-brand for scooters (that too electric as well as petrol type). They have plans for something huge on their mind. Bajaj Urbanite scooter is expected to launch in India by the end of this year.
