Bajaj V, the popular patriotic series of premium commuter from the Indian manufacturer is all ready to double its charm through the entry of V12. The motorcycle is nothing other than a watered down version of the V15, carrying the same iconic styling with a muscular fuel tank and cafe racer styled rear cowl. Bajaj has priced the same at INR 56,200 (ex-showroom Delhi) while the launch date is currently not official to the masses. Recently, the motorcycle has been spotted at a dealership, clearly indicating the number to changes that have been made to the V12.
Firstly, it looses it disc brake and now carries a drum brake at the front. Not just that, the premium alloy wheel design has also been replaced with the common 5-spoke Black wheels. The tyres are on diet, looking slimmer than ever on the massive looking fuel tank. Secondly, the front mudguard comes in Black instead of body colored while the shocks now have rubber covering like the Avenger Street series.
Bajaj V12 Spotted at a Dealership (Launch Soon)
The engine is now silver finished, 125 cc air cooled unit that is expected to be a newly developed unit from the bigger 150 cc engine. It would be more torque focused than the Discover engine. Bajaj V12 is expected to come in just Red shade at this time and the difference can also be noted from its different layout of stickers than the V15. The motorcycle may even get a 4-speed gearbox instead of the V15’s 5-speed unit.
The worst part on Bajaj’s side is that they have not yet officially listed the bike on their website while it can be clearly seen that it would be out on the roads in few days. Not just that, in the same images, we can see the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS in the background with the new Black/Red paint scheme. Bajaj has just listed the Laser Blue shade on the official website while there have been videos of people driving the new Black/Red shade on Indian roads on all Pulsar models.
