Bajaj has quietly launched it’s long anticipated motorcycle – The Bajaj V15 at Rs 61,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Surprisingly, the premium-cum-affordable motorcycle was launched without any pump and show, and with no official ceremony from Bajaj.
Coming to the design, the bike’s styling has incorporated elements from both a cafe racer and a cruiser. The bike carries an INS Vikrant logo on its fuel tank, as a reminder of its legacy. The bike comes with thicker fore fronts than regular 150cc bikes, and an 18 inch front tyre and a 16 inch rear wheel.
The Bajaj V15 derives its power from a single cylinder 149.5cc engine producing a power equivalent of 11.83 BHP @ 7500 rpm and a torque of 13 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The bike sends it power and torque to the rear wheel through a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.
Available only in two colors, Pearl white and Ebony black, Bajaj will commence deliveries of the V15 from mid-march. The bookings of the bike started last week at Rs 5000.
