BS4 Bajaj CT100 Series Launched @ Rs 29,988
Bajaj Auto was the first Indian motorcycle manufacturer to switch from BS3 to BS4 products and surprisingly, it is even the only manufacturer to lower the price of its entry level model by a big margin. Yes, the fact is true as Bajaj CT100B can now be bought for INR 29,988 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle was launched around INR 32,000 and got a price fall with the implementation of the BS4 norms. CT100B can rival any other 100 cc motorcycle in terms of performance and targets rural markets with its impressive price tag.
Bajaj CT100B
Bajaj CT100B is powered by a 99.27 cc, single cylinder engine producing 8.1 BHP at 7500 rpm and 8.05 Nm at 4500 rpm. It has enough torque to help two people cruise comfortably within the city conditions. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox while the motorcycle weighs 109 kg. The use of cost cutting features like seat without rear panels, round headlight and metal grabrail made it possible for Bajaj to place it at such competitive point. It still comes with metallic paint options for the tank and side body panels.
Bajaj CT100
Regular CT100 comes with two variants, Spoke wheels and Alloy wheels. The former is price at INR 35,389 while the latter can be had for INR 38,891. The only difference between both is the use of different wheels as alloy wheels makes the motorcycle look better and even saves 1 kg from the body weight. The engine used here is even the same as CT100B and comes with same performance figures. All of the bikes are offered with kick starter while Bajaj provides AHO, 10.5 liter fuel tank and wider 3 inch tyre on all the models.
