BS6 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 Launched in India

The BS6 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 have been recently launched by the brand. Bajaj Auto has updated the price tags of all the motorcycle variants at their official website while the price tags for the BS4 versions also remain to be listed indicating that the dealerships still have some BS4 inventory even after the new emission norms are valid in the country.

The BS6 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is now available at a price tag of INR 69,997 for the drum brake variant and INR 74,118 for the disc brake variant. Both the updated variants of the motorcycle now carry a premium of INR 6,381 and INR 7,500 respectively over their BS4 prices. The motorcycle continues to feature the same 124cc, single-cylinder engine that is now BS6-compliant and is capable of offering maximum power of 12HP @ 8,500 rpm while the utmost torque stands at 11Nm @ 6,500 rpm.

Similarly, the BS6 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon is now available in the markets with a new price tag of INR 85,536, getting a premium of INR 10,336 over its BS4 price tag of INR 75,200. The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 standard model is now available with a price tag of INR 94,957 and gets a premium of INR 8,999 over the BS4 price tag of INR 85,958.

On the other hand, the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc variant is now available across the dealerships at a price tag of INR 98,835 which is INR 8,998 higher when compared to its BS4 price tag of INR 89,837.

Powering the 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 150 series is the BS6-complaint 149.5cc, 2-valve, twin spark, air-cooled engine that is capable of churning a maximum power of 14HP @ 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.4Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Apart from the addition of a BS6-compliant engine, the 2020 Pulsar 125 Neon and Pulsar 150 series remain similar to their BS4 counterparts. The motorcycle variants have been equipped with a fuel-injection system as well as an extra catalytic convertor to comply with the BS6 emission norms. The suspension setup, as well as the braking system on the updated motorcycles, also remains similar to their BS4 versions.
