Ahead of the official launch, the variant-wise price list of the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 has surfaced online. As per the recent reports, both the motorcycle variants have started reaching the dealerships while the official launch is expected to happen very soon. Here is the complete ex-showroom price list of the BS6-compliant models of the Pulsar 125 and the Pulsar 150:
- BS6 Pulsar 125 Drum – INR 68,762
- BS6 Pulsar 125 Disc – INR 73,088
- BS6 Pulsar 150 Neon – INR 85,920
- BS6 Pulsar 150 Standard – INR 92,429
- BS6 Pulsar 150 Twin Disc – INR 96,563
In comparison to the BS4 models, the BS6 Pulsar 125 series has got a price hike ranging between INR 5,178 to INR 6,502. On the other hand, the Neon variant of the BS6 Pulsar 150 series is costlier by INR 10,000 while the Standard and Twin Disc variants have got a price hike of INR 12,000 (approximately).
At present, there are no details available regarding the technical specifications of the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150. The brand must have equipped the motorcycles with fuel-injection and a catalytic converter to meet the upcoming emission norms that will be implemented in India on April 1, 2020. No cosmetic changes are expected and both the bikes will remain more or less the same in terms of looks.
For reference, the BS4-compliant model of the Pulsar 125 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 12HP and a peak torque of 11Nm. The engine is further mated to a 5-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the BS4 Pulsar 150 series is powered by a 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which is capable to generate 14HP of maximum power and 13.4Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
