BS6 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi Spotted; Price Revealed

The much-anticipated BS6 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi has started reaching the dealerships while as per a recent report, the price of the upcoming motorcycle has also been revealed. The fuel-injected BS6-compliant model of NS200 will launch with a price tag of INR 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The BS6 model is priced INR 11,000 higher in comparison to the BS4 model which is currently available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.13 lakh.

It was being expected that in addition to the BS6-compliant engine, Bajaj will also update the Pulsar NS200 with new colour schemes and graphics but the brand has not made any changes to the design of the motorcycle as it has been spotted in the same white shade with no cosmetic updates. Even the blue back-lit instrument console remains exactly the same as seen on the BS4 model of the NS200.

As we reported earlier, the bookings for the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi have commenced at select dealerships with a token amount of INR 5,000 while the official launch will take place in the next couple of weeks. Bajaj Auto has updated the engine with a fuel-injection system and a catalytic converter to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms that will be implemented in India on April 1, 2020.

Though the brand has not yet revealed the exact power and torque figures of the bike, one can expect the NS200 Fi to generate 24.5HP of maximum power and a peak torque of 18.6Nm, similar to the Pulsar RS200. The engine will remain mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The updated motorcycle features the similar disc brake setup at either side while the 200cc streetfighter continues to be equipped with a single-channel ABS unit as standard. In addition to the white shade, the bike will be available in yellow, red, and black colour options.
