Bajaj CT 110 X Commuter Bike Launched in India: Bajaj Auto has officially launched a new variant of the CT 110 with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 55,494. Known as CT 110 X, the commuter bike has already started reaching dealerships across India while the deliveries are expected to begin very soon. The motorcycle is available in four colour options – Blue with Black, Red with Black, Green with Golden, and Red.
Some of the key design elements of the Bajaj CT 110 X include the likes of a round headlight featuring a protective grille, front telescopic forks with fork gaiters, an extended rear carrier that can carry loads up to 7kg, a spring-in-spring rear suspension system, five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels, front LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), a huge footrest for the pillion rider, a thicker crash guard, child foothold, engine guard, knee pads on the fuel tank, a blacked-out engine, and a basic instrument console featuring two analogue dials along with an engine malfunction indicator.
Mechanically, there are no changes and the new CT 110 X is powered by the same 115cc engine that features an electronic fuel injector (EFI) and is good for 8.6 HP of maximum power at 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.81 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine continues to be mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The new Bajaj CT 110 X rivals TVS Star City Plus, Hero Splendor iSmart, Honda CD Dream 110 and the other 110cc options available in the Indian market. The power and performance difference between 100cc and 110cc bikes is smaller than usual but still, as the industry moved from 150cc to 160cc for more power and decent fuel economy, it seems like the bigger option is definitely the better one.
