Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is all set to make an official entry into the Indian market in February 2017, most probably on Feb 9. It was once sold here without any problem but later on, Bajaj Auto halted its production to make way for the Adventure Series of motorcycles. Recently, a walk around video for Pulsar NS200 was made by YouTube user Furious Moto, but the video has been removed and their account has been terminated, we have added another video, which explains the minor details that have been changed from the older model.
Detailed Walkaround Video of 2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200
The motorcycle now support a different style of dual tone shades, leaving the rear panel and front tank extenders Grey in all the options while painting the fuel tank and under engine fairing in the desired shade. The front fender even finishes in Grey and places the other shade in the same way as Dominar 400. The motorcycle retains its independent tyre hugger and seat layout from the earlier version.
Pulsar NS200 is powered by the same 199.5 cc, liquid cooled engine producing 23.17 BHP and 18.3 Nm of torque. It was rumored to get fuel injection and ABS as an option on the 2017 model but none of the models in the video or seen elsewhere support the idea. Bajaj can place the same at around INR 96000 while the closest rival would be none other than the TVS Apache RTR 200.
NS200 was one of the hot selling models of its time, carrying the engine that shares its block with the entry level Duke and RC model. It provided lightweight performance in the hands of Pulsar fans as the bike weighs just 145 kg. The 2017 model gets 200 stickers on the tank extensions while the paint combinations are not that promising as the earlier version with all Black and other combinations.
