India’s First 110cc ABS Motorcycle Launched At Rs. 72,224

The launch of the Platina 110’s ABS version in the domestic market has been announced by Bajaj Auto. The entry-level commuter motorcycle costs Rs. 72,224 and is now safer than before. The price mentioned here is ex-showroom.

The Platina 110 ABS, which contains a single-channel ABS unit, has so become the first motorcycle in its segment to receive the installation of ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The motorcycle adds a digital speedo console with a gear position indicator. It comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster, gear guidance, and an ABS indicator.

Additionally, Bajaj provides four different colour schemes with the new top-spec model. They are Saffire Blue, Cocktail Wine Red, Gloss Pewter Grey, and Ebony Black.

A 115cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with 4-speed transmission powers the Platina 110 ABS. It can generate a max power output of 8.44 bhp and a peak torque of 9.81 Nm.

Bajaj Platina 110 ABS competes against the Hero Splendor Plus, Honda CD 110 Dream, and TVS Star City Plus in the Indian market. One of the best-selling motorcycles for the brand is the Platina. Last month it had sales of 33,702 units, representing a YoY negative sales growth of 44.4%.

Bajaj offers Platina 110 ABS motorcycle with 17-inch wheels. Telescopic front forks and dual spring shock absorbers with Nitrox handle suspension. It comes with an 11-litre fuel tank and halogen headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights.
