Meet Bajaj Pulsar ‘Phoenix 03’ by Greasy Hand Customs

Certain motorcycle modifications are worthy of all the attention they get on the road. The custom-built Bajaj Pulsar ‘Phoenix 03’ cafe racer by Greasy Hand Customs is one such example that needs to be recognised. The stock motorcycle (2004 DTSi model) has been customized with an entirely new design language that offers it a modernistic appeal while reviving the vintage charm.

Coming to the major cosmetic changes, the motorcycle has been equipped with mag wheels which replace the spoke wheels equipped on the stock machine. In addition to this, the front fascia of the motorcycle has been equipped with a revised aftermarket headlight cluster with two LED units integrated inside the round matte black housing. The customizers have further stripped off the windshield at the front while the instrument console has also been replaced and is now a single-pod analogue unit finished in chrome.

In addition to the headlight unit, other aftermarket products used by the customizers include the likes of a clip-on handlebar unit, LED indicators while the front fender has been customized with handwork.

The motorcycle has been further equipped with a redesigned fuel tank unit which now features a knee dent and has been painted in a white colour scheme with red horizontal thick stripes. It further features the ‘Phoenix 03’ branding by Greasy Hand Customs.

Adding to the overall creativity of the customizers is the handmade leather bag that has been equipped on the motorcycle in addition to a thick single-seat saddle made with extra cushioning to offer additional comfort.

Half of the subframe of the stock Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been chopped off by the customizers while the other half has been raised by a bit to offer it a cafe racer-inspired design language. In addition to this, the modified motorcycle has been equipped with a “C” shaped exhaust unit that connects the carburettor and the air filter. We must mention that the exhaust system has also been handcrafted by Greasy Hand Customs, it’s not an aftermarket unit. The Bajaj Pulsar ‘Phoenix 03’ features a 110-section 17-inch front tyre and a 120-section 17-inch rear tyre.
