MY2021 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Gets 3 New Colours: Bajaj Auto has launched three new colours for the Pulsar RS200 to boost sales during the festive season. According to the brand, the latest dual-tone colour combinations are based on the ‘colour blocking’ design language.
The Burnt Red (Matte Finish) colour has replaced the Racing Red shade, Pewter Grey has replaced the Graphite Black colour, while the Metallic Pearl White is a new addition though it has not been revealed yet. Bajaj Auto has equipped the new colours with white alloy wheels and a white frame to offer them a unique look. The brand has discontinued the Racing Blue colour from the lineup.
Here is the official statement released by Mr Narayan Sundararaman, Head-Marketing, Bajaj Auto: “The Pulsar RS200 and NS200 have always stood out by offering the latest in international technology in performance motorcycling. This festive season, we offer discerning motorcyclists an unbeatable combination of sporty responsive performance and eye-catching new looks that reaffirm Pulsar’s market leadership.”
In terms of pricing, there is no change and the new colours are available at an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.52 lakhs. The new shades will start racing the dealerships from October 23, 2020. Powering the MY2021 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is the same 199.5cc, BS6-compliant, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine which is good for a maximum power of 24.5HP @ 9,750 rpm along with a peak torque of 18.7Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine remains mated to a six-speed transmission.
The suspension duties continue to be handled by conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear features a nitrox gas-charged monoshock unit. The sports bike is equipped with disc brakes at both the ends which are further mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard,
