New 125cc Bajaj CT Model Launched in India at Rs 71,354

Bajaj has introduced the CT 125X, which joins the CT 110X in the company’s rugged commuter lineup. This bike has the same engine as the now discontinued Discover 125.

The CT 125X is available in three colours from Bajaj: Ebony Black with Blue decals, Ebony Black with Green decals, and Ebony Black with Red decals. A 124.4cc air-cooled engine mated with a 5-speed transmission system generates 10.9 HP of max power and 11 Nm of peak torque.

Bajaj CT 125X’s suspension system consists of a telescopic fork in the front and dual shock absorbers in the rear. It comes standard with CBS (combined braking system). The front suspension unit features fashionable bellows. The 130mm front and rear drum brakes are standard and the higher variant includes a 240mm disc up front. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres measuring 80/100-17 in front and 100/90-17 in the rear.

Bajaj CT 125 X comes with an LED DRL on the cowl, an analogue instrument cluster, and a USB charging port. The seat height and length of the bike are 810mm and 700mm, respectively along with a wheelbase of 1285mm. It has a round headlamp, LED DRLs, crash guards, rubber tank pads, fork gaiters, and a large grab rail with minimal body panels.

Bajaj CT 125 X is India’s most affordable 125cc motorcycle, priced at Rs 71,354 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Bajaj CT 125X costs approximately 5,000 more than its predecessor, the CT 110 X. Bajaj CT 125 X will compete with the likes of Honda Shine and Hero Super Splendor in the 125cc segment.
