Bajaj Auto has officially launched the CT110 in India. The much-awaited addition to the brand’s commuter lineup, the CT110 gets a price tag of INR 37,997 for the kick-start variant and INR 44,352 for the electric start model. Both the variants are equipped with Bajaj’s ASBS (Anti-Skid Braking System) as standard.

As with the Platina and Platina 110, the Bajaj CT110 is also an upgrade for those who need slightly revised performance and more comfort from their commuter motorcycle. Bajaj is using a revised design with black tank grips, covers for the front forks, updated graphics, better rearview mirrors and a comfortable seat on the new model.

The 115cc engine is good for 8.6 HP of maximum power and 9.8 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Once this model comes popular, Bajaj can also launch the H-Gear variant for the CT110, helping buyers enjoy highway riding like no other motorcycle with the provision of fifth gear.

The launch of Bajaj Auto products brings better technologies at affordable pricing while most other brands are seen selling basic motorcycles that lack the same sort of performance and sophistication as seen on Bajaj commuter bikes.

For distinguishing the CT110 from the CT100, the engine and other lower-placed components are finished in the Black shade while most motorcycles of this segment feature unpainted options. The new set of decals are good enough to give the motorcycle a fresher look. The motorcycle can be availed in Glass Ebony Black, Matte Olive Green, and Glass Flame Red colour options.

The new Bajaj CT110 rivals TVS Star City, Hero Splendor iSmart and other 110cc options available in the Indian market. The power and performance difference between 100cc and 110cc bikes is smaller than usual but still, as the industry moved from 150cc to 160cc for more power and decent fuel economy, it seems like the bigger option is definitely the better one.
