Bajaj to Launch 2 New Colors for Dominar 400 in India

New Colors for Dominar 400: Bajaj Dominar was one of the much anticipated model of 2016 which was known to shift at least 20% of the Royal Enfield owners towards buying Dominar.

Though, the plan didn’t go as expected and the sales kept on dropping each month with the company registering sales of less than 900 units in May 2017. In a bid to boost the sales once again, Bajaj is all set to launch New Colors for Dominar 400.

Currently, the Bajaj Dominar motorcycle is offered in three colour options: Moon White, Midnight Blue and Matte Black whereas the Twilight Plum colour has been discontinued. The Racing Red is considered to be introduced as a special edition likewise the Matte Black edition.

Besides the new red paint scheme, the rear body grab rails and the handlebar of the 2018 Bajaj Dominar will feature a silver finish. All these changes are bound to remind you of Bajaj CS400 concept that was put on display at the Auto Expo 2014.

New Colors for Dominar 400 | Matte Black with Golden Alloy Wheels

The new matte black edition will feature golden alloy wheels instead of the all black alloy wheels and will reportedly carry a premium of INR 500-1,000 over the standard bike. The normal variant costs INR 1,42,108 (ex showroom Delhi)for the non-ABS version, and INR 1,56,270 (ex showroom Delhi) for the ABS version.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373cc, liquid-cooled engine churning out a power of 35 HP and an utmost torque of 35 NM. the engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The new 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to be launched in India in the coming weeks.
