2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F was leaked online recently and now Dino’s Vault has posted a 9 minute long walk-around + review video of the upcoming 2017 model of Pulsar 180 DTS-i on YouTube. One of the major change in the 2017 model is that it is now equipped with the much-needed rear disc brake.
Like the 2017 Pulsar 220F, the new model of Pulsar 180 is also same like the current-gen model and there are no major changes in terms of design and the bike retains the same shape and style, which has now started showing its age and looks very outdated in comparison to the Honda CB Hornet, TVS Apache RTR, Suzuki Gixxer, and Yamaha FZS.

Apart from the addition of a rear disc brake, there are some other minor changes for 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180 like all-new graphics, new Blue back-lit instrument console, matte-finish on clip-on handlebar, plus the engine is expected to meet the BSIV emission norms, and might also get a bump in power and torque figures. The current-generation Pulsar 180 develops maximum power of 16.8 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 14.22 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The 178.6cc engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
According to the reviewer, the overall finish and build quality of the new Pulsar 180 is better in comparison to the last-gen model. As of now, Bajaj is tight-lipped regrading the exact launch date of the 2017 range of Pulsars, but they do have confirmed that New Pulsars will hit the market next month. We hope that they make some good improvements in terms of power output for all models and there would be considerable improvement in overall performance of the bike.
