The updated model of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi with ABS was spotted outside India earlier this year. The 200cc streetfighter has got a new set of shades for the international markets. The bike now features a white/silver fuel tank and a black rear under-seat panel on all three colours. The difference can be spotted on the FI monikers, finished in Neon Blue, Neon Yellow, and Neon Red on the three colour options. The matching pinstripe on the alloy wheels is another way to differentiate all three of them.
As Bajaj Auto manufactures the Pulsar NS200 in India and exports the same to different markets around the globe, the new colour combinations are expected to make their way to our country along with the launch of the fuel-injected model.
As the BS6 emission norms will come into effect starting from April 1, 2020, the brand would be updating the fuel-injected engine of the Pulsar RS200 to make it BS6-compliant, and the same engine will also be used in the updated model of the NS200 in the Indian market.
The fuel-injected Pulsar RS200 generates 24.5HP of maximum power at 9750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm. The non-fuel injected NS200 generates 23.5HP and 18.3 Nm. The gearbox stays 6-speed in both cases.
Bajaj Auto recently also launched an ad campaign showing their presence in more than 70 countries and their newly introduced NS200 model seems another step towards better sales in the international markets.
Pulsar NS200 is a great machine with a balanced streetfighter design and stylish fuel tank extensions. The brand recently introduced a 125cc model to its Pulsar lineup and the price range now starts at INR 64,000 for the drum brake model of the Pulsar 125.
The Fi model of Pulsar NS200 was earlier expected to launch in India around Diwali (October 2019) but as per the latest details available, the Fi+ABS model will now launch by the end of this year. The updated version of the NS200 is expected to be priced around INR 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
