At present, Pulsar RS200 is the flagship Pulsar motorcycle in the brand’s product portfolio. This typical RS200 Grey Edition by DS Design looks even more classy in comparison to the stock model of the bike, highlighting the unique design profile of the sportbike through red inserts at selected places. The motorcycle gets custom placed ‘Race Sport’ and ‘RS200’ monikers on its front fascia while the ‘Grey Edition’ sticker is placed on the rear panel.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Grey Edition by DS Design features a gloss black shade with matt grey inserts on the front fascia, side fairing, fenders, and under-seat panels. The red inserts are placed all over the motorcycle, covering the fuel tank, grey sections, tyre pinstripes and the front projector outlines.
The windscreen gets a faux carbon fibre finish while the same can even be spotted on the exhaust of the motorcycle. The model is ABS-equipped and gets the ABS moniker highlighted through red letters. Apart from these cosmetic changes, no performance upgrade has been offered to this Pulsar RS200.
Mechanically, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is powered by a 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine producing 24.5HP of maximum power and 18.7Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 140.8kmph.
The motorcycle currently retails for INR 1.57 lakhs for the BS6 version and comes with a wet weight of 166kg. The stock shades include Burnt Red, Pewter Grey, and Pearl White. The 13-litre fuel tank on the motorcycle makes it good for 400+ km in a single refill. It currently competes against the Yamaha R15 V3 and the KTM RC 125 in its price segment.
