Thanks to our readerAdarsh Charles for sharing the photos of the upcoming 2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200. As seen in the photos, the design of the bike remains more or less same in comparison to the last generation model of NS200. The 2017 model will get ‘200’ written on the both sides on the tank panels, plus the bike is expected to be available in at least 4 new dual-tone shades. The starting price for 2017 NS200 would be somewhere around INR 1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The bike in the leaked photo doesn’t have the ABS ring on the front wheel, which means that Bajaj will be offering the ABS as an option. But if a report by RushLane is to be believed, the 2017 NS200 won’t be coming with Fi and ABS. But one of our fans shared confirmed information with us that he has booked Black NS200 ABS and also paid INR 1000 as the booking amount, and the Bajaj dealer in his city confirmed that the bike will come with Fi + ABS as optional. So, only time will tell whether the bike would be getting Fi and ABS or not. New 2017 model of NS200 is expected to launched in India on January 24 or February 9. Bajaj has not yet confirmed the exact launch date.

Bajaj has officially released a teaser image on its official Facebook page confirming the relaunch of Pulsar NS200 in coming days, most probably by next week. NS200 has been in a debatable state since its silent production halt for the carburetor fed model. The time when it actually started growing popular among the masses, Bajaj Auto simply pushed AS series instead of the NS naked street fighter.
But finally the time has come and the fans who were waiting for the NS200 from past few months, they would be able to own the best-looking 200cc naked street bike in India priced around INR 1 lakh. Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is powered by the same 199.5 cc, liquid cooled engine but it is now expected to carry fuel injection in place for the old carburetor setup, but the same has not been confirmed yet. The power values are said to remain unchanged, producing a max of 23.17 BHP and 18.3 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and you can expected it return mileage of around 35 kmpl. The bike might also get optional ABS for INR 10,000-12,000.
