Powering the Fiery Yellow Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is a BS6-compliant 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable of generating a maximum power figure of 24.5 HP @ 9750 rpm and a peak torque of 18.5 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle can register an approximate top speed of 136kmph while the ground clearance stands at 168mm.

The BS6 variant of the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is now equipped with a fuel-injected engine which replaces the carburetted engine seen on the BS4 model. The addition of FI with an additional catalytic converter and other features to comply with the BS6 emission norms have caused a slight increase in the kerb weight of the motorcycle.
