The current lineup of Benelli Motorcycles is managed by Mahavir Group, and it consists of Leoncino 250, TNT 300, 302R, Imperiale 400, Leoncino 500, TRK 502, TRK 502X, and the TNT 600i. To improve the overall sales in India, the brand recently also announced a huge price drop for the TNT 300 and the 302R. The TNT 300 got a price drop of INR 51,000 while the 302R got a price cut of INR 60,000.
Benelli is an Italian moniker that was revived by the Chinese Qianjiang Group. However, the headquarters are still located in Pesaro, Italy. The Indian arm has seen numerous ups and downs with different partners, resulting in a distorted brand image and a feeling of distrust among the existing owners. In the recent times, the things have improved as Mahavir Group has started establishing its footprint in all parts of India, and now the brand is once again capable enough to rival KTM, Kawasaki and other superbike brands in the country.
Benelli TNT600i is the most powerful motorcycle of its kind, producing 85HP of maximum power at 11,500 rpm and 54.6Nm of maximum torque at 10,500 rpm. The motorcycle comes with a 180-section rear wheel, dual under-seat exhausts and much more. The powerful motorcycle weighs 231kg and claims 221kph of top speed. It is also the only four-cylinder motorcycle that one can buy around INR 6 lakh in India.
The 300cc Benelli bikes are good for everyday riding, with an impressive exhaust note to keep the spirits high at all times while the TRK adventure motorcycle series was launched in India in February 2018 for those who need access to the less-travelled roads.
Benelli recently also launched the much-awaited Leoncino 250, Leoncino 500, and the Imperiale 400 at an ex-showroom price tag of INR 2.50 lakh, INR 4.79 lakh, and INR 1.69 lakh respectively. Here is the 2020 price list of the Benelli bikes you can buy in India.
