According to recent reports, the 2020 Benelli TNT 600i has been recently launched in China. The motorcycle was originally showcased at the EICMA 2019 and gets a price tag of CNY 46,800 (INR 5.07 lakh) in the Chinese markets.
Coming to the MY2020 updates, the brand has revamped the front profile of the motorcycle by a bit. The 600i available in the Chinese markets now features a full-LED headlight that has been redesigned and mated to LED DRLs. The new design language of the motorcycle sets it apart from its previous version.
The fuel tank of the 2020 variant of the motorcycle has been imparted a dual-tone outlook while the “TNT” decals seen on the last-gen version have been replaced with “600” stickers. The brand has further equipped the motorcycle with a fully-digital coloured TFT display while the rear of the motorcycle has also been tweaked to offer a rather sharp outlook.
Apart from this, the motorcycle remains true to its last avatar. The brand has equipped the 2020 Benelli TNT 600i with similar alloy wheels design in addition to offering a split-seat setup. The motorcycle continues to feature an under-seat dual exhaust system while the fuel tank capacity also remains the same at 15 litres.
Powering the motorcycle is a 600cc, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 81.58HP @ 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 51Nm @ 8,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission along with a slipper clutch as standard.
The motorcycle is capable of registering a top speed of 190 kmph. In addition to this, the suspension and the braking setup also remains the same when compared to the last-gen variant.
The 2020 Benelli TNT 600i is available to the customers in the Chinese markets in two colour schemes namely White/Black and Green/Black. The brand is further expected to update the existing 600i in the Indian markets with a BS6-compliant engine or launch the 2020 TNT 600i variant altogether in the coming months.
