Benelli is currently focusing on introducing the 2020 variant of its naked street bike, the TNT 600. The motorcycle was spotted in China earlier this year while the patent images that surfaced online a few days later exhibit a different design language, specifying that the spotted test mule was just in its preliminary design stage. Now, the recently surfaced new patent images of the motorcycle confirms the production-ready design of the upcoming 2020 Benelli TNT 600.
The brand has offered the upcoming Benelli TNT 600 a rather minimalistic yet sharper design language when compared to its current-gen variant. The compact LED headlight unit is accompanied by small LED turn indicators. The fuel tank gets a muscular look which is enhanced by the sharp extensions flowing towards the front forks.
Coming to the rear profile, the motorcycle gets a sleek tail design which is different and more compact than the one seen on the earlier patent images of the motorcycle. The TNT 600 in the new patent features a single piece saddle as opposed to the split seat unit seen on the previously surfaced patents.
Apart from the cosmetic changes, the 2020 TNT 600 is expected to be left mechanically unaltered. Powering the motorcycle will be the same 600cc, in-line four-cylinder engine though, the brand is likely to make it BS6-compliant which will likely offer a little less than 86.2HP of power and 54.6Nm of peak torque.
The suspension duties on the motorcycle are handled by upside-down forks at the front while the rear features mono-shock suspension. The motorcycle gets twin disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear.
Though the new patents seem to be of the production-ready variant of the next-gen Benelli TNT 600, the exact specifications and design language of the motorcycle will be confirmed at the time of its official launch the EICMA in November 2019.
