The much-awaited 2020 Benelli TNT600 has been officially revealed by the brand ahead of the EICMA 2019. The production variant of the most-anticipated motorcycle is nothing like the earlier leaked prototypes. The brand has only offered some minor updates to the sports machine when compared to its existing variant while major comprehensive changes have been given a miss.
Taking a little design inspiration from the leaked prototypes, the brand has finally equipped the motorcycle with an LED headlamp in addition to offering an LCD instrument console. The brand has further equipped the 2020 model of the Benelli TNT600 with a split seat setup which has replaced the single-seat setup spotted in the leaked prototypes.
The headlamp cluster is now exposed while the addition of new tank extensions adds to its exclusivity. The white and black colour scheme offered to the sports motorcycle is now different from the yellow prototype though, it is worth grabbing attention on the road. In addition to the displayed colour variant, the brand will also be offering the all-new Benelli motorcycle in green colour.
Powering the 2020 Benelli TNT600 is the same 600cc, inline 4-cylinder, DOHC engine that is capable of generating a maximum power figure of 81.6HP @ 11,500 rpm and a peak torque of 51Nm @ 10,500 rpm. The motorcycle has been equipped with a BS6-compliant engine to cater the new emission norms to be implemented in the country before April 1, 2020, thus the slight decrease in power and torque output is justifiable when compared to the output offered by the current-gen variant.
The motorcycle features 50mm inverted forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with a monoshock unit. The kerb weight of the motorcycle has increased by 3kgs and now stands at 234kg. One can expect the brand to officially launch the 2020 Benelli TNT600 in the Indian market soon while the price tag will be revealed at the time of the launch itself.
