Leoncino 125, the smallest Scrambler from a popular Italian motorcycle brand, has been officially introduced to the market. As per the latest reports, the bike will most likely be sold in the European market. It is also anticipated that the brand may bring the bike to our shores as the Leoncino 500 is already being sold here. If Benelli brings the bike to the Indian two-wheeler market, then it will compete with the likes of KTM and Bajaj.
In terms of appearance, the new Benelli Leoncino 125 looks identical to the Leoncino 500 and features a “Lion of Pesaro” embellishment on the front mudguard. Moreover, it gets a different and oval headlamp, which is obvious owing to its different and small body frame. The bike also has a single-piece seat, split-style alloy wheels, and a side-slung exhaust.
Speaking of the powertrain, this Benelli bike gets a 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of churning out 12.8 PS and 10 Nm when coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The suspension duties are assigned to the upside-down telescopic front forks and the mono-shock at the rear end. Braking chores are fulfilled by petal-type disc brakes on both ends.
